# 12.3.16 — Login-screen item count now matches the Overview

- `/api/settings/public` (server.js) counted disposed items (`includeDisposed: true`), so the login screen's "Items tracked" was higher than the Overview's "Total items tracked", which excludes disposed items (they live in Scraps). The login count now excludes disposed items too.
- No schema, data or screen changes.

## POS till panel (screens: `dashboard.html`, `pos.css`, `pos.js`)
- **Change due is always visible.** The "Change due / Short by" line moved out of the scrolling payment block into a footer pinned to the bottom of the till panel, directly above Place order. It is larger, tinted green (change) or red (short), and only shows for cash-type payment methods.
- **Dark mode:** selected buttons (order type, payment method, categories) no longer get the bright accent stripe along their bottom edge; they use a solid fill with a thin soft outline. Place order lost the pale glow/ring around it in dark mode, and its disabled text is dimmed.
- Service-worker cache bumped (v47 → v48) and the `pos.css` / `pos.js` query strings changed so browsers and installed PWAs pick up the new files.
- **Till panel no longer clips the payment block.** Sections of the order panel (other than the item list) can't shrink any more, so the quick-cash buttons (Exact, Rs. 2,000 …) are no longer cut off behind the pinned footer; the panel scrolls instead. Cache bumped to v49.
